I'm not sure about Medicare per se, but I have Medicare handled by Humana ("Gold Choice"), and they will pay for it, it's just that you must pay for it first and then submit a claim, which is unlike the other vaccines they cover - Flu, Pneumonia, Hepatitis B. Those are included in the bill submitted to Medicare for payment by the doctor.
